Bonjour,
Sorry for not posting for a while. I was very bussy with school. But now I'm here to tell you something more about the beautiful Zara collection. A few minutes ago I was looking at the new fall/winter collection of Zara. I immediately felt in love with their new collection. The pictures are looking fantastic and I adore the look of the model. The soft colors and the clothes with the leather accents are looking gorgeous on her. The collection radiates something chic and classy. One of my favourite items is the soft pink blouse with the pearl accents. I also really like the lace dress with the leather peplum.
Hope you enjoy,

Our first outfit for men
Bonjour,
Today I present you for the first time an outfit for men. I choose all the items from the mr porter website, the male version site of net-a-porter. I have chosen a lot of expensive things but it are all basic items that every men can use in his closet. The wool sweater is from Marni and costs €440. And I combined the sweater with a gray T-shirt from Levi's vintage clothing and a wool-blend bomber jacket from Olivier Spencer. The bomber jacket costs €335 and the T-shirt costs €70. The brown pants I choose is from Hartford and costs €165. The leather boots are from Alexander McQueen and costs €599. To make the outfit perfect I choose round-frame sunglasses from Persol (€287) and the scarf is from Horiyoshu the third and costs €311

The H&M collaborations history
Bonjour,
Yesterday I showed you the first items of the Maison Martin Margiela collaboration with H&M.
Today I will tell you something about all the other collaborations with H&M.
-Karl Lagerfeld:
The first designer collection came out in november 2004 and was designed by Karl Lagerfeld, the designer of Chanel. A lot of fashionista's were standing in the row at the H&M stores. The collection was very quickly sold out. It was a big succes because no other store ever did what H&M did.
- Stella McCartney:
After Karl Lagerfeld it was Stella McCartney's turn to design a collection for H&M. The collection came out in november 2005. Like the collection of Karl lagerfeld there wasn't alot of colour in Stella's Collection. The collection was sold in 400 stores around the world !!! (that's a lot if you know that the Marni collection was sold in 240 stores around the world. The collection was a big succes and completly sold out. Stella McCartney was also very happy with the collection and she said about it that: "it's a fantastic way of reaching a wider female audience."
-Viktor & Rolf:
In november 2006 a collection came by Dutch designers,Viktor & Rolf. Personally it's one of my favourite collections because there were a few pair of amazing shoes and coats. I'm already searching for 3 years for the pink hearts shoes, but I cant find them anywhere. In the collection of Viktor & Rolf there was also a beautifful wedding dress. Viktor & Rolf also were very anthousiast about their collaboration with H&M and said this about it: ”If Haute couture is the most sublime form of fashion, H&M is fashion at its most democratic."
-Roberto Cavalli:
After Viktor & Rolf it was the leopard king, Roberto Cavalli's turn. The collection was full of gold, glitters, leopard print ... It was a huge succes, it was one of quickest selling out collection of all the collaborations. I have 1 gorgeous zebra print dress of the collection
- Comme des garçons:
In november 2008 following the commercial success of the Cavalli collection, H&M looked to Japanese cult label Comme des Garcon to keep the concept fresh. The collection was true to the designer brands roots, with intelligent pattern cutting and playful proportions. I really liked the hair of the models in commercials.
-Matthew Williamson :
For spring and summer 2009, the British designer Matthew Williamson created two exclusive ranges for the company – the first being a collection of women's clothes released in selected stores. The second collection saw Williamson branch into menswear for the first time, only in selected stores. The second collection also featured swimwear for men and women and was available in every company store worldwide.
- Jimmy Choo:
-Lanvin:
My favourite collection of all the collaborations is the Lanvin collection because there is a lot of colour in it and the collection looks very playfull but also very chic. The collection came out in november 2010. The collection also has beautiful patterns like the flowered pattern. I'm the proud owner of the flowered pattern dress and the shinny black coat with the little fur. I'm still searching on ebay for the red necklace and earrings. I also really liked the paper bags with the cartoon girls in the lanvin dresses.
-Versace:
In June 2011, H&M announced a collaboration plan with Versace, that was released on November 19. In the collection there were a lot of pieces inspired by iconic pieces from the Versace history. Versace also made a Spring collaboration with H&M that will only be available in countries with online sales. The collection was named:"the Versace Cruise Collection."unfortunately I didin't bought anything of the Versace Iconic collection but I bought a pull, a dress, a top and a bracelet from the Cruise collection. You could only buy the cruise collection online so needed to send my items to the Netherlands and then I needed to send them to Belgium because you can't shop online to Belgium.
- Marni:
In November 2011, H&M announced a collaboration plan with Marni, to be launched in March 2012. The campaign were directed by award-winning director Sofia Coppola. The Italian brand did a great job, The collection was almost sold out. In the collection there were alot of beautifful graphics. I bought a T-shirt and the collar, the black one, it was very quickly sold-out.
That was everything for today, Now we can only wait for the new collaboration with Maison Martin Margiela. The collection will hit stores at november 15 of this year.
Hope you enjoy,

MMM for H&M
Bonjour,
I think you already know that the new guest designer for H&M is MaisonMartinMargiela. I just want to tell you that yesterday a picture of the first items is released. On the picture from the french ELLE you can see a red assymetric dress and a pair of boots. A lot of fashion people aren't very enthousiast about the dress, but the fashion people are very excited for the brown boots because they are having a heel in glass and MMM already showed alot of heels in glass in his collections. And also the boots are looking very chic and elegant. I let you know when other pictures of the items releases. But for now I'm finished.
Hope you enjoy,
-xxx-
PS: We see eachother at the 15th of november at the H&M shop

The new fall/winter trends
Bonjour,
The summer is almost over so today I will present you the fall/winter trends. What's in and what's out. First of all I will tell you what's IN.
- Nostalgic prints :
You can wear Barok prints and oriental but especially it needs to be colorfull. And be not scared to wear a whole outfit with nostalgic prints or using big prints.
- The cape :
The cape is definitely THE jacket of the season. You can wear him very classy or very futuristic or sometimes you can wear a super hero style cape.
- The big sweaters :
They are very popular since we saw them on the catwalk by Givency. Now everyone can wear oversized sweaters. They can't be large enough. You can wear them on a pair of trousers or on a long skirt.
- Big stones :
We saw them a lot on the catwalks, especially by Prada and also at Chanel, Marc Jacobs and a lot of others. You can wear purses with stones or on your sweater or on your pants. You can wear them everywhere.
- The turtleneck :
The turtleneck is the new collar. I'ts very hot, so it's very good for when it's very cold outside and it also look chic. We saw it also at Maison Martin Margiela.
So we are finished with what is in to fashion at the moment. I told you everything about the new trends and what you need to buy. Now I will tell you something more about the older trends but the ones that still are in to fashion.
- the bomberjack :
The bomberjacket is already very old but at the moment it's again in to fashion because now they are a bit redesigned with a bit of noe and the old school style. We saw them in the Prada Spring/Summer collection of 2012.
-The loafers :
They were the most seen shoes of the spring/summer collections of 2012. We saw them at Christian Louboutin. They are comfortable and chic at the same time. For the winter you can buy a lot of loafers with studs. You can also buy them for a cheaper price then the designer ones at Zara or Mango.
- The peplum :
We already saw the peplum getting very popular this summer but he will be more popular this winter.
In every designer collection you can find a few items with a peplum and also at the budget shop it's very popular.
- Collars :
The collars already were a big trend but this winter you can still wear them in different shapes and collors and materials like pearls and leather. Or you can make them by yourself.
- Pastel :
Pastel colors already were a big trend this summer but you can still wear them this winter. We saw a lot of pastel colors at the Jil Sander fall/winter show and at the Dior fall/winter show. Pastel colors are looking very nice in combination with brown colors or leather.
Now I told you everything about the new trends and the things that are still in to fashion. But now I will tell you something more about the trends that are OUT.
- leggings:
Stop wearing leggings please ! It doesn't look nice and it flatters nobody. You can only wear them to sit on your couch or when you are cleaning. So forget leggings.
- fur :
Real fur is completly out. Please stop wearing real fur ! You can buy such a good fake fur that looks very real. Just don't wear real fur anymore.
- huge platforms :
Platforms are still into fashion but the huge platforms are out. They are very rug. They doesn't look very elegant and feminine. So stop wearing maxi platforms but still wear some more subtle ones.
- bare midriff :
I need to tell you that I never was a huge fan of the bare midriff trend and now it's totally out. I'ts to cold for this winter and it's only nice if you have a muscled tummy and not a fluffy one. We saw it on the catwalk by D&G and other designers.
Hope you enjoy,
